Common Questions
Who actually writes the content? Does it sound generic?
Every lodge client has a Lodge Voice Profile built during onboarding, a document that captures the lodge’s personality, tone preferences, programs, and what it is and is not comfortable publishing publicly. Every content session starts from that profile. The posts are written for your lodge, not recycled from a template. If the first batch does not sound right, we refine the profile until it does.
What do you need from us each month?
At the start of each month we ask for upcoming events, any news from the lodge, and any specific programs or dates to promote. A short message or a five-minute conversation. We handle everything else. The more context you give us, the better the content. But the system is designed to produce good content even when officers are at their busiest.
How long before we see results in search?
SEO is a compounding investment. Most lodges see meaningful local search improvement within three to four months. The Google Business Profile tends to show results fastest. Blog content takes longer but builds lasting authority. We set realistic expectations at onboarding and report monthly so progress is always visible.
Can we pause or cancel?
Retainers operate month-to-month after an initial three-month commitment period. The three-month minimum ensures we have enough time to complete the onboarding, calibrate the voice, and show meaningful results. After that, the lodge can pause or cancel with 30 days’ written notice.
What is the difference between the tiers? Which is right for our lodge?
The tiers differ in post volume and SEO depth. Essential is the right entry point for lodges that want professional consistency without high production volume. Standard is the most common choice and the right home for most lodges, enough volume to maintain genuine visibility and promote events effectively. Premium is for lodges with active programs, larger memberships, and a serious commitment to sustained growth. If you are unsure, we recommend starting at Standard.
Can we change tiers after we start?
Yes. Tier changes take effect at the start of the following month. There is no penalty for moving up or down. If you start at Essential and want to move to Standard after three months, the transition is straightforward.
Do we need a foundation project first?
No. Growth Retainers are available to any lodge with an existing digital presence we can build from. If your lodge has a working website and social profiles, we can begin a retainer without a foundation project. If the existing presence has significant technical or brand issues, we may recommend a brief foundation project first, and we will be honest about that at intake.
